Job Description
International Petrochemical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Distillation Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating both batch and continuous stills to separate intermediate products and impurities from coal tar compounds.
- Charge the still and initiate the flow of coal tar compound through the still units.
- Adjust control valves while monitoring instruments and gauges.
- Compute variances between laboratory analyses and product specifications.
- Verify chemical material quantities in feed and hold tanks.
- Potentially direct the activities of helpers.
