Key Responsibilities:
- Pour and regulate molten metal into molds.
- Move metal to the pouring area using cranes or other systems.
- Adjust metal in molds to manage shrinkage.
- Collect samples for analysis.
- Examine molds for cleanliness and proper coating.
- Position equipment for pouring operations.
- Read and confirm temperature specifications.
- Remove solidified metal or slag from nozzles.
- Perform ladle lining and repairs as needed.
- Follow housekeeping and safety procedures.
