Job Description
Ortak Consultants (Pvt.) Limited is currently in search of a qualified Medical Billing Officer to join our team in Karachi. This role is essential to our operations within the IT/Software Services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and track medical insurance claims.
- Manage charge entry, payment posting, and patient billing.
- Address and resolve claim denials and rejections.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer guidelines.
- Effectively communicate with clients and insurance representatives.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of medical billing experience; offshore experience preferred.
- Proficient in billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD).
- Solid understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Able to work night shifts.
