Job Description
SMA Engineering & Services is currently seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering and bring 5–8 years of relevant experience, particularly in building construction projects from the contractor’s viewpoint, preferably on government contracts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing comprehensive cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Submitting Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
- Creating Variation Orders (VOs) and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
- Conducting quantity verification and site measurements.
- Coordinating with on-site and technical teams.
Required skills encompass:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
