Job Description
ProPakistani, the premier independent blog in Pakistan, is seeking a skilled News Editor to join our expanding content team in our Islamabad/Rawalpindi office. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, revising, and proofreading content, ensuring accuracy and adherence to our publication’s style guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, edit, and proofread articles
- Verify information and factual accuracy
- Identify engaging topics for publication
- Ensure compliance with house style
- Assist in managing freelance contributors and writers
Qualifications:
- Exceptional command of English and grammar
- Relevant previous experience is necessary
- Proficiency with WordPress
- Must reside in the Islamabad/Rawalpindi area
