Job Description
The Senior Officer STP position at Abbott Laboratories entails overseeing accounts payable processes related to direct and indirect material acquisitions. Key responsibilities include verifying invoices through a three-way match, reconciling purchase registers with the General Ledger, preparing liability schedules, and assisting in audits. Candidates must exhibit strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is required. Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICMA, or CA Inter are advantageous. A preferred background includes 1 to 2 years of experience in accounts payable or procurement finance.
