Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve the technology infrastructure of our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all IT systems, networks, and servers operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. You will work closely with internal teams to support day-to-day IT needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimise system performance and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and upgrade all IT systems, including servers, networks, internet and software to ensure high availability and reliability.

· Network Management: Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure and uninterrupted communication.

· Security Management: Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols such as firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, and regular system updates to protect against threats.

· Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

· Data Backup & Recovery: Manage backup and disaster recovery systems, ensuring data integrity and availability in the event of hardware failure or cyberattacks.

· User Management: Oversee user access, permissions, and security protocols across all systems, including setting up new users and deactivating former employees.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Generate regular reports on system performance and security.

· IT Equipment Management: Oversee the procurement, installation, and management of IT hardware including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking devices.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and implement solutions that support business operations.

· Supportive Tasks: Any other task to be performed by the employee mentioned under the relevant SOP or our direct supervisor.

Education:

Bachelors in Computer Science – Preferably major in Network security.

Certifications – CCNA – CCNP (Preferred) – MCSE – NSE5 – CompTIA – MS Azure.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 Years experience in relative field.

Note:

The company has two sites, i.e., Islamabad and Peshawar. The candidate would be required to travel to one site or the other based on the requirement at each site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,00.00 – Rs100,00.00 per month
