Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for managing our central warehouse operations, which supply goods to our 8 grocery store branches. This role includes overseeing stock levels, vendor coordination, stock receiving & dispatch, and ensuring timely delivery of stock according to branch demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all warehouse operations, including stock receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Monitor inventory levels, expiry dates, and ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Prepare and fulfill branch-wise stock demand on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Ensure all dispatches are properly packed, documented, and delivered on time to 8 branches.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and loaders; assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using inventory software/manual ledgers.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in retail/grocery sector.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience in handling vendor communication and logistics coordination.
  • Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage a team and meet strict timelines for stock dispatch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
