Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Lead – Software Development to oversee the development team and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

– Lead a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and career development support.

– Assign tasks and manage workflow to meet project deadlines and objectives.

– Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to encourage innovation and excellence.

– Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

2. Project Management

– Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.

– Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

– Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to minimize risks and delays.

– Coordinate with other departments such as QA, UI/UX, and DevOps to ensure smooth project execution.

– Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and other stakeholders (clients, product managers, etc.).

– Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities regularly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

– Ensure that client expectations are managed effectively and that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

5. Continuous Improvement

– Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.

– Encourage team learning by promoting professional development, attending workshops, and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

– 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

– Strong experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

– Proficient in [Insert Relevant Technologies, e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.].

– Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

– Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage development teams.

– Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
